Word to PDF · Local preview + server conversion

Word to PDF

Preview the document in your browser, then convert DOCX to PDF through the server engine designed to preserve pagination and layout more closely.

Local preview, server conversion. The DOCX preview is created in your browser. When conversion starts, the file is sent to the Membara Tech server, processed with LibreOffice, and the PDF result is stored temporarily for about 60 minutes.
The layout usually stays closer to the original Word document, but the result may differ if document fonts are not available on the server or if the document uses Word features that are not fully supported.

How to convert Word to PDF

  1. 1. Choose a DOCX file. Use a Word file up to 25 MB.
  2. 2. Check the preview. The browser preview provides an initial visual check.
  3. 3. Start conversion. The DOCX enters the server conversion queue and is processed with LibreOffice.
  4. 4. Download the PDF. The result is available temporarily after processing finishes.

About conversion results

The server engine is designed to preserve pagination, tables, images, margins, orientation, headers, and footers more closely than the browser preview. Results may still differ when a document uses fonts unavailable on the server or Word features that are not fully supported.

Which documents are not supported?

Only DOCX is accepted. DOC, DOCM, macro-enabled documents, and encrypted or password-protected documents are rejected before conversion.
