Privacy
Privacy Policy
This policy explains how the public Membara Tech website and tools covered by this policy handle data. Last updated 6 October 2026.
1. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to the public Membara Tech website and to tools or services that explicitly refer to this policy. Individual Membara products or operational services may publish separate privacy notices when their accounts, data, infrastructure, or service boundaries differ.
2. Tools that run locally
Some tools are processed directly in the browser and do not require file upload to the Membara Tech server. The privacy label on each tool indicates whether processing is local or uses server processing.
3. Tools that use temporary server processing
Certain conversion tools, such as Word to PDF and PDF to Word, require server processing. Files are sent only when you start the conversion. Working files and results are retained temporarily for the job and are generally cleaned up after approximately 60 minutes.
4. Operational data
For security, stability, capacity management, and troubleshooting, systems may record technical metadata such as process status, input/output size, duration, resource use, error codes, and request information needed to operate the service. Conversion application logs are designed not to record document contents as log content.
5. File and processing security
Files processed on the server are restricted by type, size, and validation rules. Conversion workspaces are separated from application files and use randomized job names, processing time limits, queue controls, and temporary-file cleanup.
6. Third-party tracking
At the time of this update, the public website source does not include third-party analytics trackers or advertising pixels. If this changes, this policy will be updated to describe the relevant service and data handling.
7. Product and service boundaries
A public landing page on membara.tech does not by itself mean that an operational product application uses the same data boundary as this website. Product applications may publish product-specific privacy notices where appropriate.
Membara Commander operates as a separate core service with separate application, database, identity, enrollment, OIDC, MCP, device, execution, audit, privacy, and service-term boundaries. Commander-specific privacy and terms are therefore handled separately from this corporate website policy.
8. Contact
For privacy or data questions related to this website or the tools covered by this policy, contact [email protected].
